Mission Statement
(What I believe to be true)

I believe in the innate ability of the body to heal itself from anything. I believe that you can keep yourself supremely healthy if you are given the correct information.

I want to better people's lives and health through the work I do and to provide the highest quality care I know how to give. I want to educate my patients about the care of their bodies and support my patients in their well-being by being available to answer their questions with integrity and intelligence.

Finally, I strive to be focused and centered in higher consciousness so that I may serve more abundantly.

In our world of increasing toxicity, it takes a lot of intention to stay healthy. You will be faced with making the right choices daily and you must be conscious around it all. I once heard that every decision is either one for life or one for death. You will become acutely aware of this maxim as you start living a conscious life of health and well-being.

I also believe that, in the beginnning, it's not particularly easy to do all of this.

  • It's easier to stop by MacDonalds for a Big Mac and fries than it is to plan ahead and make your beans , rice and salad for dinner.
  • It's easier and more convenient to take antibiotics than to allow the body to heal itself through natural means with help from carefully chosen supplements.
  • It's easier to sit on the couch and watch Will and Grace and eat Doritos than it is to get into your exercise clothes and do 3 miles on your home treadmill. (It may be much more appealing for you to spend that treadmill money on a trip to Las Vegas, too.)
  • Sometimes it's easier to stay in a bad relationship full of stress than it is to have the strength to leave it. (By the way, many times I have seen toxic emotions be healed as the toxic body is healed - the two go hand in hand.)

Most of us aren't living on farms anymore, growing our own organic greens and keeping our goats, cows and chickens happy and healthy through organic feeds. Most of us live in toxic cities full of noise and pollution; we eat fast-food daily and we experience unremitting emotional stress either from our jobs and/or our relationships.

At first getting healthy will be a commitment; just starting to change our habits is like trying to turn the Titanic away from the iceberg. I totally understand how hard all of this is, because I have been working for years on myself. But, trust me, it's a wonderful journey filled with both short and long-term rewards.

If you want to start on a healing path, you must, first and foremost, make an agreement with yourself that - above all - being as healthy as you can be is what you want to do: I'm not making you do this. Your Mother is not making you do this. You have chosen to get healthy. With this thought in mind, eventually everything will fall into place. Before you know it, you will find yourself making the right choices around food, exercise and people. You will safely turn your Titanic away from the iceberg. And it gets easier and easier as time goes on.

I want to help you do this. That's my job in life. You could consider me your personal health coach.
